China Electric Power Construction Corporation New Energy Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Electric Power Construction New Energy Group") was established in December 2021 and is an important subsidiary enterprise of China Power Construction Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "China Power Construction"). Currently, the company's total assets exceed 100 billion yuan, net assets are nearly 30 billion yuan; the installed capacity of the projects put into operation exceeds 16 million kilowatts, and the installed capacity of the projects under construction is nearly 14 million kilowatts, distributed in 30 provinces (cities, autonomous regions) across the country. 

The Electric Power Construction New Energy Group is the only power generation enterprise under China Electric Power Construction Corporation (CEPC) engaged in domestic new energy investment and operation. It was established by CEPC to promote the high-quality and leapfrog development of its new energy business, and is a key force in serving the new national energy security strategy and the "dual carbon" goal of China. The company has participated in the development and construction of a wide range of projects in China, including onshore wind power, offshore wind power, photovoltaic power generation, solar thermal power generation, and off-grid wind-photovoltaic-diesel-storage-distribution grids. It has actively explored new energy demonstration projects and invested in and built a number of benchmark projects in the clean energy field, creating many industry firsts. The 100-megawatt floating offshore wind power project in Wanning, Hainan, which the company invested in and developed, is the world's largest commercialized floating offshore wind power project; the 115-megawatt offshore photovoltaic project in Ji'e, Shandong, which the company is preparing, is one of China's first large-scale offshore photovoltaic projects; the wind power project in Zhangbei, Hebei, which the company invested in and operated, is one of China's first large-scale wind power base projects; the solar thermal power generation project in Gonghe, Qinghai, which the company invested in and operated, won the 6th China International Solar Thermal Demonstration Project Promotion Award; and the wind-photovoltaic-diesel-storage-distribution grid project in Ronghe, Xinjiang, which the company invested in and operated, is China's largest, most technologically complex, and highest off-grid wind-photovoltaic-diesel-storage-distribution grid.
